Apex Microtechnology's PA93, a 400 V, 8 A Power Amplifier in PowerSIP with Low Standby Current

The PA93 is an 8A (14A PEAK), 400V power operational amplifier that exhibits a very low 10mA of quiescent current. The safe operating area (SOA) has no second breakdown limitations and can be observed for all load types by choosing an appropriate current limit resistor. The MOSFET output stage is biased A/B for linear operation and external compensation provides flexibility in choosing bandwidth and slew rate for the application.

Housed in a space saving, electrically isolated 12-pin PowerSIP package, the PA93 lends itself to high density circuit board layouts. Targeted applications include piezoelectric positioning, high voltage instrumentation and electrostatic transducers.
