Apex Microtechnology's PA92, a 400V, 4A Power Amplifier with Low Standby Current

The PA92 is a 4A (7A PEAK), 400V power operational amplifier that exhibits a very low 10mA of quiescent current. The safe operating area (SOA) has no second breakdown limitations and can be observed for all load types by choosing an appropriate current limiting resistor. The MOSFET output stage is biased AB for linear operation and external compensation provides flexibility in choosing bandwidth and slew rate for the application.

Housed in a space-saving, electrically isolated 12-pin PowerSIP package, the PA92 lends itself to high-density circuit board layouts. Targeted applications include piezoelectric positioning, high voltage instrumentation and electrostatic transducers.
