Apex Microtechnology's VRE306, a +6V, Low Noise Precision Voltage Reference

The VRE306 is a low cost, zener-based precision voltage reference that provide ultra-stable +6V output with ±0.6 mV (.01%) initial accuracy. This improvement in accuracy is made possible by a unique proprietary multipoint laser compensation technique. Significant improvements have been made in other performance parameters, including warm-up drift, line regulation, and long-term stability, and makes this VRE ideal for upgrading systems that use lower performance references.

Temperature coefficients are as low as 0.6ppm/°C over the full industrial (0°C to +70°C) temperature range. The VRE306 is housed in a surface mount 8-pin package. This VRE is recommended for use as a reference for 14, 16, or 18 bit D/A converters which require an external precision reference. The device is also ideal for calibrating scale factor on high resolution A/D converters.
