Apex Microtechnology Transitions Open-Frame Amplifier Product Line to Varedan Technologies
TUCSON, Arizona, U.S.A. – September 1st, 2026 – Today, Apex Microtechnology, an industry leader in high-performance power analog solutions, announced an agreement to transition its standard open-frame amplifier product line to Varedan Technologies. The agreement includes general released Apex Microtechnology open-frame amplifier devices. Apex will continue to support its own line of custom open-frame designs, which are not included in the agreement.

We are confident customers will continue to receive the same great products and technical support from Varedan which they have relied upon for years through Apex. This transition enables Apex to increase its focus on Precision ICs® and hybrid developments as we continue our mission to enable, advance, and accelerate the development of high technology through innovative analog and mixed-signal solutions for complex electronic systems.”
An Experienced Partner for the Product Line:Founded in 2000, Varedan designs and manufactures high-performance linear and PWM servo amplifiers, motion controllers, and power operational amplifiers for OEM applications. Based in Torrance, California, Varedan is ISO 9001 certified and has extensive experience developing and supporting amplifier technologies, making Varedan a well-suited vendor to carry the product line forward, servicing our existing customers.

Apex’s custom open-frame designs are not included in the agreement and will continue to be manufactured and supported by Apex Microtechnology.
Customer Transition and Continued Support:Effective September 1st, 2026, Varedan will assume responsibility for commercial and technical support for aforementioned products. These products will remain available for purchase through Apex’s existing authorized distribution channels, helping provide continuity for current and future customers.
